wood and steel slabsSIXBAU Deck Slabs are lightweight structural slabs made of wood or steel beams that can be used for building renovations, floor extensions or even the construction of larger horizontal partitions, mezzanine slabs and galleries. They are also excellent for replacing wooden slabs in old buildings. The low self-weight of SIXBAU Deck slabs means minimal extra load on existing masonry. Compared to the weight of a standard World Slab slab, it is half the weight of a slab made of concrete. Their construction is quick and easy, no crane and support structure is required during construction, and no formwork or scaffolding is required.
For the construction of lightweight ceilings in new buildings, for the replacement of old ceilings during renovations and conversions, for the construction of inter-storey ceilings and larger galleries.
